Welcome to the first part of the walk! Kharkiv impresses not only with its historical past, but also with its modern life. We invite you to get acquainted with the works of the artist Hamlet Zinkovsky, located in Kharkiv. This route includes both street art and work in spaces accessible to the public. Please note that although these works have survived, they are not protected from vandalism, so their condition may change. Many of the works are placed in the arches and courtyards of houses — Hamlet called them “street art for rain people.” The idea of the artist was that people hiding from sudden showers could contemplate his works and reflect on their meaning by reading philosophical inscriptions. Hamlet pointed out that it was these inscriptions that were key in his works.
