The city is known for its beautiful historic center with Baroque, Rococo and Gothic architecture, as well as museums, galleries and theaters. The attractions of Preševo are concentrated in its historic center, which stretches around Main Street, which expands into a spindle-shaped square. Its dominant is the parish church of St. Nicholas of the middle of the 14th century with a high tower, rebuilt in the Gothic style.
