Weekend in Tallinn (2)

Weekend in Tallinn (2)

Tallinn was and continues to be an important port of the Baltic Sea, with a lively passenger part of the port reaching the foot of the picturesque medieval Old Town, which is surprisingly well preserved and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. The absolute contrast is its immediate surroundings filled with a cluster of modern office towers with periodic architectural monuments of the Soviet era. Next you will find an amazing variety of historical and modern districts, religious, social, industrial and maritime heritage. All this provides a significant tourist flow of the city, given its size, which in turn means that the infrastructure is robust and extensive. The route “Weekend in Tallinn” is designed for 2 days. This is the second part of the route, which includes such attractions as Tallinn City Hall, St. Olaf Church, Fat Margaret Tower, Helleman Tower, Virus Gate, Kadriorg Palace, Pirita Monastery and many others.
