Verona has a rich history of more than 2000 years. It was a Roman city, and many Roman ruins have been preserved. Because of the value and importance of its many historical buildings, Verona has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the second part of itinerary "Charming Verona" where you will find the most remarkable sights, notably the Piazza dei Signori, the Scaliger Tombs, the Verona Cathedral (Duomo), the Ponte Pietra, the Roman theater and the Giusti gardens.
