Copenhagen is a city of water, light and reasonable comfort. Simple pleasures are appreciated here: morning coffee, green parks, bold architecture and art next to everyday life. “Copenhagen: The Route of Happiness” takes you from quiet alleys and coffee shops to museums, palaces and canals, and finishes with a panorama that gives a feeling of free breath.
Three stops that fall in love:
— Tivoli. A vintage amusement park with warm lights, open-air concerts, and Walt Disney-inspired gardens. Holiday atmosphere without fuss.
— Royal Library of Denmark — “Black Diamond”. The polished dark stone reflects the water, inside there is a bridge through a bright atrium and a view of the harbor. It is the largest library in Northern Europe.
— Copenhill. An ecological plant with a green roof, where you can climb the path to the observation deck and see the sea, windmills and the city. On the facade is one of the highest artificial rock walls in the world.
Interesting fact: on weekdays, more people get to work here by bicycle than by car - no wonder the city is consistently included in the world rankings of well-being.
Try the route: it collects small pleasures in one walk — from the first sip of coffee to the wind at the top of Copenhill.
