Welcome to the second day of your trip to Prague — today you will see a city that, after its medieval glory, became the scene of modernism, independence and revolutions of the twentieth century. It was here that in 1918 the independence of Czechoslovakia was proclaimed, and in 1989 on Wenceslas Square hundreds of thousands of people gathered during the Velvet Revolution. Today's key locations: Vyšehrad is the legendary place of Prague with a panoramic view of the Vltava and the oldest rotunda of the city. The dancing house is a symbol of modern Prague, an architectural dialogue of old and new. Prague TV Tower is the tallest building in the Czech Republic with an observation deck and unusual sculptures of babies on the facade. An interesting fact: according to legend, it was from Visegrad that Princess Libushe predicted the appearance of a big city “whose glory will reach the stars.” A thousand years later, next to this legend, a television tower with a height of 216 meters grew - a symbol that Prague literally reached into the sky. Have a nice continuation of the journey:)
