Vienna is a city of quiet grandeur and daily hospitality: the aroma of coffee, well-kept parks, carefully preserved facades. It is easy to walk here — more than half of the territory is green.
The Imperial Way begins in Schönbrunn: garden alleys lead to observation terraces. Nearby is the Schönbrunn Zoo, the oldest in the world in operation. Next, head to the Museum Quarter, between the Museum of Art History and the Natural History Museum. For a respite — Café Landtmann: strudel and Viennese coffee.
In Hofburg we will look at the Imperial Treasury, and in the Solemn Hall of the Austrian National Library — the smell of old folios. Nearby are the Butterfly House, the Albertina and the Vienna State Opera.
Through the alleys we go to St. Stephen's Cathedral and the House of Mozart; within these walls were born melodies that still lead the step. For lunch — schnitzel in Figglmüller.
Finish: City Park, the bright Gundertwasser House on Kegelgasse, a Ferris Wheel ride in Prater, and finally, the Danube Tower with a wide panorama.
Let's go — this route opens Vienna step by step.
