Welcome to the first day of our trip to Vienna, a city that has been the political and cultural center of Europe for more than 600 years. It was from here that the Habsburgs ruled the empire from Spain to the Balkans, where the European protocol, musical canon and urban culture were formed, which is still studied as a standard. Today you will see: Hofburg — the centuries-old residence of the Habsburgs, which was the center of power of the Holy Roman Empire and Austria-Hungary • St. Stephen's Cathedral (Domkirche St. Stephan) is a symbol of Vienna and the main Gothic temple of the city around which the medieval capital was formed Albertina — one of the strongest art collections in Europe with works by Durer, Monet, Picasso and Klimt Interesting fact: The historic center of Vienna has hardly changed its layout since the nineteenth century, so Vienna is considered one of the best preserved imperial cities in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Have a nice walk and a rich first day of acquaintance with Vienna! 😂
