Welcome to the fourth tourist day in Zurich — a city where urban development took place not because of demolition, but because of good decisions. Here, industrial areas were not buried, but made experimental spaces for culture, design and business. Today will be: The Freitag Tower is an informal symbol of modern Zurich, assembled from cargo containers, showing how design and environmental thinking have become part of the city's identity. Schiffbau is a former shipbuilding workshop, converted into one of the city's main theatrical and cultural platforms, where industrial architecture works as a stage. Prime Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Zurich, marking the transition of the Zürich West district from factories to a modern business and cultural center. Little known fact Zurich fundamentally restricts high-rise development: even the Prime Tower appeared after long public discussions, and most areas of the city have strict height limits to preserve the human scale of urban space.
