Welcome to the third tourist day in Zurich.
This city is interesting because the historical center is not “preserved” here — churches, museums, residential buildings and cafes function together, without dividing into tourist and non-tourist zones.
Today will be:
Grossmünster is one of the main churches of the city, associated with the Reformation in Switzerland and the formation of the independent city government of Zurich.
Fraumünster is a temple famous for the stained glass windows of Marc Chagall, where religious architecture is combined with the art of the twentieth century.
Museum Rietberg is the only museum in Switzerland devoted entirely to art outside Europe, housed in a former villa with a park.
Little known fact: in Zurich it is allowed to swim in a river and lake right within the city limits - the water purity here is so high that it is part of the daily life of residents, not a tourist attraction.
Have a good route and a quiet acquaintance with the city!
