Best of Zurich - Day 2
Route Details

The second tourist day in Zurich is dedicated to the city as an intellectual and historical center of Switzerland. It was here that in the XIX—XX centuries the model of the city was formed, where universities, museums and public spaces were located side by side, rather than spread over separate areas.
ETH Zurich is one of the most prestigious technical universities in the world, where Albert Einstein studied and which still defines the scientific and engineering profile of the country.
The Lindenhof is a historic hill in the center of the city, from which the Roman Zurich (Turicum) began and where the logic of the formation of the old city is best read.
The Swiss National Museum is the main museum in Switzerland, showing the development of the country through history, design, politics and everyday life without mythologizing and tourist clichés.
Little known fact: Zurich does not have a well-defined “museum quarter” — most of the key museums are consciously integrated into residential and university districts so that culture remains part of the city's daily life.
Good route and convenient acquaintance with the city ☺️
