Khmelnitsky is a city with a gentle rhythm and hospitable courtyards. It is convenient to discover Podillya on foot. The route “Khmelnitsky: Zatyshok Podillya” begins on Privokzalnaya Square: a minute for coffee — and you are already in the Ivan Franko Park, where the linden trees keep cool for the start of the walk. Next awaits the Regional Art Museum: Podolsk color in painting and bold modern exhibitions. In Shevchenko Square there is a cinema, a monument and quiet greenery, ideal for respite, and nearby the Museum of the History of the City tells how Proskuriv became Khmelnytskyi. On the Independence Square, you should stop near the Memorial to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. A few steps away — the Starytsky Theater and the buildings of the regional and city councils; music from the phones of passers-by often sounds on the benches of Kuzma Skryabin Square. The monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky leads to the Regional Philharmonic and the Holy Pokrovsky Cathedral.
