Welcome to the first day of Nice — a city where the Mediterranean light makes even everyday life beautiful. Nice is considered the sunniest city on the Côte d'Azur, and its unique shade of sky even officially has its own name — “Bleu de Nice”. It was here in the nineteenth century that the European resort lifestyle took shape, and artists like Matisse and Chagal called the city their inspiration. Today's itinerary is 12 bright locations that will open Nice from different sides. Here are three of them so that you immediately feel the rhythm of the day: • The Port of Limpija (Nice Harbour) is one of the most beautiful ports on the Côte d'Azur with colorful facades, fishing atmosphere and yachts that look like scenery for the movie. • Mont Boron Park — a panoramic site with one of the best views of the bay — a horizon so clear that you can see the Italian side. • Waterfall (Terrasse Nietzsche) is a waterfall that is hidden in the slope of a former fortress; it was created artificially in the 19th century, but it looks completely natural and is considered one of the most beautiful points of the city. Interesting fact: Nice is the only city in France where official documents sometimes use a separate name for the local language - Nisor, a descendant of Old Provençal.
