Oslo is a city where the harsh northern character is combined with warmth and openness. Here the fjord goes directly to the center, the streets are clean and calm, and people are not in a hurry. This is a city for those who like to breathe full breasts. Three places to remember exactly: The Munch Museum is not just paintings on the walls. More than twenty-six thousand works of the artist are collected here, including several versions of the “Scream”. The building itself is an architectural statement that overlooks the fjord. The fortress of Akersgus has been standing over the city for more than seven hundred years. It survived sieges, served as a prison and residence of kings. Today, the best view of Oslo Fjord is from here. Frogner Park is a place where Norwegians simply live: walk, relax, play with children. Vigeland sculptures are placed throughout the park and depict human life from birth to death. Admission is free. Interesting fact: Oslo is one of the few cities in the world where public transport runs so accurately that locals check their watches.
