One day in Seville starts near the Columns of Hercules: the city wakes up with the aroma of coffee and the rustle of terraces. A few steps away — the chamber shine of the Palacio de las Duñas and the courtyard with oranges. Next is the Casa de Pilatos with mudakhar mosaics; climbing the wooden wave of Setas de Sevilla, we catch the panorama of the roofs. In the Plaza Nueva near the Town Hall there is a short pause, followed by the elevation of La Giralda and the space of the Cathedral of Seville. Nearby quietly keeps the secrets of the Archives of the Indies. In Real Alcazar, find the Patio de las Donselas and sit the edge of the fountain for a few minutes. For lunch — a plate of tapas at El Rinconcillo. Steps lead to the river via Teatro de la Maestransa to Torre del Oro, from where the trail returns to the Palacio de San Telmo and the lovely Costurero de la Reina. The finale is Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España: the shadows of sycamores, the whispering of canals and the soft evening light that is so easy to take with you in memories.
