Ternopil es una ciudad que se fundó en 1540. Situada en la encrucijada de las rutas comerciales, fue atacada y destruida repetidamente, pero cada vez renacía como un fénix. Por lo tanto, la propia Ternopil a veces se llama la ciudad de Phoenix. Y también, la ciudad de las cascadas, gracias a sus hermosas fuentes.
